IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS
PREPARATION
- Consider leasing, especially initially, as the costs associated with the move can stretch financial resources.
- Consider the value of investing cash into staff and resources as opposed to furnishings.
- Lease payments are 100% tax deductible and allow you to avoid annual depreciation schedules; allow you to capitalize quickly.
- Furniture rental showrooms provide the ability to quickly get furniture.
- Refer to all items on the furniture.
CHOOSING A VENDOR
- Get references of companies in similar industries.
- The vendor should provide all the various different furnishings you require: lobby, seating, desks, etc.
- Ask the vendor and references if they can give delivery in 48 hours.
- The vendor should be willing to take away the furniture as soon as you request.
- Make sure you can add or subtract pieces as needed.
